Day 1: Detailed Itinerary - Welcome to Victoria Falls & Zambezi Dinner Cruise

Your adventure begins with a warm airport pickup by your guide/driver from Victoria Falls International Airport and a transfer to your lodge - Shongwe Lookout.

At 16:00, you’ll be collected for an unforgettable Zambezi River Dinner Cruise. After a short drive, you’ll board the boat and choose your preferred seat as you set sail into the golden African sunset. Enjoy a freshly prepared Zambezi-style dinner by the onboard chef while spotting elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and an array of birdlife along the riverbanks. As the sun dips below the horizon, your cruise concludes with a return transfer to your lodge.

Day 2: Detailed Itinerary - Guided Tour of Victoria Falls & Night Game Drive

After breakfast, your guide will collect you at 08:00 for a guided tour of Victoria Falls - exploring both the Zimbabwean and Zambian sides. The falls span the border between the two countries, offering unique perspectives from each side.On the Zimbabwean side, you’ll experience 75% of the falls and the lush Victoria Falls Rainforest, where rain falls year-round. Across the bridge, the Zambian side in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park offers a thrilling close-up view of the remaining 25%.

At 16:00, embark on a late afternoon game drive in an open 4x4 safari vehicle. Enjoy sightings of wildlife such as elephants, buffalo, and antelope, followed by sundowner drinks and snacks. The evening concludes with a 3-course bush BBQ dinner and complimentary refreshments under the African sky.

Day 3: Detailed Itinerary - Helicopter Flight & Departure

After breakfast, you’ll be picked up at 08:00 for an exhilarating helicopter flight over Victoria Falls. It’s a short 7 to 10-minute drive to the helipad in Zambezi National Park, where you may encounter buffalo or elephants on the way. Following a quick safety briefing, take to the skies for a breathtaking bird’s-eye view of the mighty falls - a truly unforgettable experience.After your flight, return to your lodge for checkout and a smooth airport transfer to Victoria Falls International Airport (VFA).

  • T-shirts for daytime wear.

  • Fleece or warm sweater for early morning and evening game drives.

  • Light long-sleeved shirt for sun protection.

  • Layered clothing for winter months (June/August) - mornings can be very cold.

  • Sturdy, comfortable shoes or sandals (camps and lodges often have sandy ground).

  • Sunglasses with good UV protection.

  • Sunblock, wide-brimmed hat, and insect repellent.

  • Binoculars and a camera (with extra batteries, memory cards, and chargers).

  • Personal medication and essential toiletries (basic first-aid kits available at most lodges).

  • Refillable water bottle to stay hydrated.

  • Pack light - safari vehicles have limited luggage space.

  • If you’ve recently visited a yellow fever area, bring your vaccination certificate.

  • Check visa requirements and passport validity before you travel.

  • Carry small USD or local currency for tips and souvenirs.

If you cancel less than 7 days before your tour or event, we’re unable to offer a refund. No-shows on the day of the tour are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, just let us know as soon as possible - we’ll do our best to find a new date that works for you.
