 Day 1: Detailed Itinerary - Arrival & Zambezi River Sunset Cruise

Your African adventure begins with a warm airport pickup by your guide/driver from Victoria Falls International Airport and transfer to your comfortable accommodation - Dzimbahwe Guest Lodge.

At 16:00, you’ll be collected for a Sunset Boat Cruise along the mighty Zambezi River. After a short drive, board your boat and settle in for a relaxing evening as you watch the sun set over the river. Enjoy sightings of elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birds while sipping a refreshing drink.As dusk falls, your cruise concludes with a return transfer to your lodge.

Day 2: Detailed Itinerary - Full-Day Safari in Hwange National Park

An early start at 06:30 takes you on a full-day safari to Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe’s largest wildlife reserve. (Arrange a packed breakfast with your lodge the night before.)Enjoy scenic views of rural villages and the Hwange Colliery enroute - the drive takes about 2 hours. Upon arrival, switch to a 4×4 safari vehicle and begin your exciting game drive with an experienced guide.

After the morning drive, enjoy a delicious picnic lunch inside the park. As the afternoon cools, animals gather around waterholes - the perfect opportunity for more incredible sightings before heading back to Victoria Falls around 16:00.

Duration: Hwange Game Drive - approximately 8 hours. Transfer from Victoria Falls (2 hours each way).

Day 3: Detailed Itinerary - Chobe National Park, Botswana - River Cruise & Game Drive

At 07:30, depart for an exciting day trip to Chobe National Park in Botswana. Border formalities are quick and easy with your guide’s assistance.

Start your adventure with a Chobe River Cruise, where you can spot elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and countless bird species in their natural habitat. Afterward, enjoy a buffet lunch at a scenic riverfront restaurant.In the afternoon, head into the park on an open 4x4 game drive to track Africa’s Big Five and other fascinating wildlife. After your safari, return to Victoria Falls in the evening.

Day 4: Detailed Itinerary - Guided Tour of Victoria Falls & Departure

After breakfast, you’ll be picked up at 08:30 for a guided tour of Victoria Falls - one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Walk through the lush rainforest to the viewpoints opposite the falls and feel the refreshing spray as your guide shares fascinating facts about this breathtaking wonder. After your tour, return to your lodge for checkout and a smooth airport transfer to Victoria Falls International Airport (VFA) for your onward journey.

To help you prepare for your African adventure, here’s everything you should pack and know before your trip.

• Casual, comfortable clothing in neutral or muted colours (best for wildlife viewing).

• T-shirts for daytime wear.

• Fleece or warm sweater for early morning and evening game drives.

• Light long-sleeved shirt for sun protection.

• Layered clothing for winter months (June/August) - mornings can be very cold.

• Sturdy, comfortable shoes or sandals (camps and lodges often have sandy ground).

• Sunglasses with good UV protection.

• Sunblock, wide-brimmed hat, and insect repellent.

• Binoculars and a camera (with extra batteries, memory cards, and chargers).

• Personal medication and essential toiletries (basic first-aid kits available at most lodges).

• Refillable water bottle to stay hydrated.

• Pack light - safari vehicles have limited luggage space.

• If you’ve recently visited a yellow fever area, bring your vaccination certificate.

• Check visa requirements and passport validity before you travel.

• Carry small USD or local currency for tips and souvenirs.

• Keep travel insurance details and emergency contacts handy.

If you cancel less than 7 days before your tour or event, we’re unable to offer a refund. No-shows on the day of the tour are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, just let us know as soon as possible - we’ll do our best to find a new date that works for you.
