Day 1: Detailed Itinerary - Arrival & Zambezi River Sunset Cruise

Your luxury safari adventure begins with a warm airport pickup by your guide/driver from Victoria Falls International Airport and transfer to your elegant accommodation - ilala Lodge Hotel.

At 16:00, you’ll be collected for a Signature Deck Sunset Cruise on the mighty Zambezi River. After a short drive, board the boat and choose your seat on the upper deck for the best views. Enjoy a relaxing cruise as the sun dips below the horizon, spotting elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and more along the riverbanks.As the golden sky fades, your cruise concludes with a transfer back to your lodge.

Day 2: Detailed Itinerary - Guided Tour of Victoria Falls & Night Game Drive

After breakfast, depart at 08:00 for a guided tour of Victoria Falls, exploring both the Zimbabwean and Zambian sides. The Zambezi River forms the border between the two countries, with the falls offering two unique perspectives - about 75% visible from Zimbabwe and the remaining 25% from Zambia. Walk through the lush Victoria Falls Rainforest, where mist creates rainfall year-round, and experience the breathtaking power of “The Smoke That Thunders.”

At 16:00, enjoy a late afternoon game drive in an open 4x4 safari vehicle. Spot elephants, antelope, and other wildlife before stopping for drinks and snacks as the sun sets. The evening ends with a 3-course bush BBQ dinner paired with complimentary refreshments.

Day 3: Detailed Itinerary - Chobe National Park, Botswana - River Cruise & Game Drive

After an early breakfast, depart at 07:30 for a full-day excursion to Chobe National Park in Botswana. Your guide will assist with a smooth border crossing before meeting your Botswana safari team.

Begin the day with a Chobe River wildlife cruise, watching herds of elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birds from the comfort of your boat. Afterward, enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at a riverfront restaurant.

In the afternoon, head out on a 4x4 safari game drive through Chobe National Park - home to Africa’s largest elephant population and the Big Five.After your adventure, return to your lodge in Victoria Falls for a relaxing evening.

Day 4: Detailed Itinerary - Helicopter Flight Over Victoria Falls & Optional Activities

At 08:00, depart for your thrilling helicopter flight over Victoria Falls. It’s a short 7 to 10-minute drive to the helipad inside Zambezi National Park, where you might spot buffalo or elephants on the way.After a quick safety briefing, take off for a 13 to 15-minute flight, circling the falls for unforgettable panoramic views - a truly bucket-list experience.

 

The rest of the day is yours to relax or add optional adventure activities, such as:

If you cancel less than 7 days before your tour or event, we’re unable to offer a refund. No-shows on the day of the tour are non-refundable.
